Lintel Restoration

When restoring a masonry building, we prefer to preserve its structural functionality by keeping percussive and reconstructive tasks to a minimum. The less movement to the structure the better. If a lintel is structurally intact, we prefer to restore it by removing all corrosion, repainting with a rust inhibiting paint and sealing the brick/ lintel gap with polyurethane sealant. When given the opportunity to preserve, we take full advantage.
